Transitions.

Last year was all about change for me.

Well, first of all, MUSIC.

Living as a teenager in the Bay Area, I know what the majority of teens listen to. Hip-hop, R&B, and Rap. I was into all that stuff once. Then I started to find they were running out of ideas. Like that one song "Chain Hang Low" (old song).. pretty pathetic to use a melody from the ice cream truck people. Do your ears hang low? maybe, maybe not... maybe fuck yourself. I also found the society sort of sexist. For many of the hip-hop/rap artists, SEX is the main topic. Some are very disrespectful to women.. I don't know if they like it that way or not.. but yeah. Calling their women "hoes" and "bitches" make others feel they also have the authority to call women the same things. Example, Imus. :)


Yeah, they put out a few good, catchy, sensible songs. Those are the ones I still listen to. Not the pathetic ones. They're pathetic. But then again, they work hard.. and I bet even I can't come up with any song/lyrics better than "Do your chain hang low?"
